We are a friendly hockey club based at the Cow Roast, just between Berkhamsted and Tring. We run 5 mens teams and 4 ladies teams, covering all ages and abilities.

For the stars of the future, we have a packed youth section, split into various age ranges, training at various times.

The men play in the Eastern Counties league and the ladies play in the 5 Counties league.

These leagues comprise clubs spread across Hertfordshire and nearby parts of the neighbouring counties.

Our clubhouse and grounds are available for hire. See the Clubhouse Hire section or click the button below to send us a message.

In what's been a fluctuating season the Men's 1s (Pictured above) closed out the season with a resounding 4-1 win against Bedford. It was a fitting way to say farewell to a selection of youngsters who now head off to University to pit their wits and livers on and off the hockey pitches of our hire education establishments. Match Report

The Men's 3s (Pictured above) continue to fight for their league survival with a resounding thumping of an already promoted St Albans team. The 8-1 victory tells a story of one team who really wanted it and another team who had played and got promoted the day before and had that "After the Lord Mayors Show" feeling. Berko took their chances. St Albans Didn't. Match Report
The Men's 3s have got to do it all again next Saturday against bottom of the league West Herts. Win and they stay up. Lose and they are relegated!

The Ladies 4s (Pictured above) had a great 3-1 win away against Stevenage. They also win best team photo of the day award. Well organised and in the right gear, although I'm not sure what Debs Wetters is doing with her mouth. Player of the match was Becca Prentice. Match Report

The Ladies 2s (Pictured above) had the long trip to Saffron Walden on a very drizzly Sunday. In an end to end battle the finished result was a fair 3-3 draw. Special mention to Babs for her sterling defensive game, saving several shot off the goal line and earning her the Player of the Match Award. Match Report

The Men's 2s finished their season with a tough game away at Broxbourne. The final result was a narrow 2-1 defeat. Berko's goal came from the ever present Roger Payton Match Report
