Welcome

We are a friendly hockey club based at the Cow Roast, just between Berkhamsted and Tring. We run 5 mens teams and 4 ladies teams, covering all ages and abilities.

For the stars of the future, we have a packed youth section, split into various age ranges, training at various times.

The men play in the Eastern Counties league and the ladies play in the 5 Counties league.

These leagues comprise clubs spread across Hertfordshire and nearby parts of the neighbouring counties.

LADIES LINE UP THE VICTORIES!

Congratulations to the Ladies section who had a wonderfully victorious day on Saturday.
The Ladies 3s provided the best photo of the day (see above) so they get mentioned first! They won 1-0 at Home to Welwyn 3's. The goal was scored by Liz Holderness! It was a really enjoyable game with a very friendly opposition. The player of the match was Helen Savage (with 9 votes) who played superbly in midfield. Match Report

Well done to a number of our teams who observed the 2-minute silence to mark the remembrance weekend. Pictured below the Men's 4s lined up before their game against Harpenden.
The game ended up in a 5-2 defeat unfortunately. Match Report

The Ladies 1s (pictured below) are all smiles with 3 wins from the last 4 games. They're showing the kind of form that made them win the league last season. This week they beat Stevenage 4-1 with Anneke Gainer scoring her first hatrick of the season. Well done to everyone who had her in your fantasy team. Match Report

Ladies 2's (pictured below) had an awesome game with a 3:1 win against Harpenden! The goals came from Molly Jarvis, Terri Payton and Steff Abson. We would also like to wish a happy birthday to Babs who's turning 21 again. I don't understand why the team are pointing at her shirt number. Match Report

The Men's 2s had a great game against Bishop Stortford. The finished result was a 3-3 draw with Ben West scoring a hatrick - his first for the club. Match Report

The Ladies 4s notched their first victory of the season with a 2-1 win against Chiltern 3s. The Berko goals were scored by Emma Walker and Lizzie Pavlik. A great win against a team higher in the league. Match Report

The Men's 1s had the toughest of games against top of the table Wapping. The final result was a 5-2 defeat with both Berko goals scored by Ollie Webb. However, Berko did squander a number of great chances and the final result could have been very different. Match Report

The Men's 3s were defeated by a strong St Albans side. At 0-0 at half time, the game was in the balance but St Albans strength showed in the 2nd half. The final result was a 4-1 defeat. Match Report

After a few good weeks the Men's 5s came unstuck against a strong Southgate Tankards side. The finished result was 4-0. Match Report
