This week the Ladies 4s faced Broxbourne, hoping to maintain their current winning streak and make it 4 in a row.

Midweek that wasn’t looking very likely as the team had poor availability, however ably supported by a few players from the rest of the Ladies Section the team was ready and raring to go!
Broxbourne are usually a tough opposition, and Berko took the game to them early, showing we weren’t going to be a pushover.  Some smooth passing from defence saw a few early shots on target from the forward line.
A free hit inside the 25 was quickly tapped in by Liv Morris to get the scoring off the ground.
Broxbourne had few breaks trough our lines, but looked dangerous when they did - Jo was calm in goal, and the defence line quick to break down their play.
Second half Berko really dominated: our passing play improving as we were more confident playing with our new players and working well together.   Goals from Megan, Emma and Sandra followed, - with other opportunities which were just wide or well saved.   The 4s has firepower today and really enjoyed the game. A great team effort, MOM to Emma W for her runs on goal.
