The Ladies 4s had a fantastic game against Chiltern to secure their first win of the season.

Although we did not start with pushback we quickly gained possession and entered the D with some good opportunities on goal which were not converted at this point, loose sand in the oppositions eyes led to a bully off which enabled us to regain possession. We worked hard as a team having some great passes and some short corners before the first half ended goalless for either team. The second half started strong although Chiltern were hungrier for the ball Berko continued to have the majority of the possession with some end to end play and short corners for both teams which were not converted. With about 15 minutes of the game left Berko made a great run for the D which led to lots of passing around the D before

Lizzie scored a goal assisted by Beth. Berko continued well towards the end of the game although their were a few close calls. It was an enjoyable game where all 14 players worked extremely hard as a team. A great afternoon of hockey.
