Saturday 24th November saw the 1st battle of the unbeatens in division 4 and both teams hoped that they would claim the spoils.  The ladies 3’s travelled to Stevenage fortified by a breakfasts of poached eggs, smoked Salmon, sausages and bacon from The Old Mill knowing we faced a tough game ahead.

We left home at stupid o'clock to head to Shefford and Sandy hockey club, we started very energetic with many chances in the D.

Terms and Conditions: As this week’s match report is written by the player who spent most of the game trying to remember everyone’s names, no accountability will be accepted for missing accolades.

After a disappointingly short warm up due to the previous match over-running, Helen M made her most insightful observation of the season so far - that all the leaves on the Halton pitch had been swept away since Wednesday night’s training.

After an hour’s drive and what felt like another hour locating parking and the pitch Berko and Hemel ladies’ 1s arrived for their match against Bishops Stortford 2s.
