We arrived in Hitchin for the graveyard shift at 430 on Saturday.  Having been briefed on Monday night training by Will Holderness, we introduced the full press strategy into our game which seemed simple but effective.

Bishop Stortford 0 Berko 4

Berkhamsted arrived for their night time push back ready to go. Starting slowly, the game was very much in the balance with Bishops Stortford showing how dangerous they can be on the break with long balls that bisected the Berkhamsted midfield. One move ended in a sharp shot from the penalty spot which keeper Seymour did well to get down to, his reactions significantly better than last week.

Berko 2 Bishop Stortford 8

It is always difficult writing a match report after a heavy defeat, especially when players come off the pitch describing it as one of their worst performances ever.

Cheshunt 2 Berko 3

A strong performance from Berkhamsted 4s on a balmy day in Cheshunt led to a deserved victory for the 4s. In truth, anything less than a win would have been an injustice. The 4s dominated the match and Cheshunt had very few chances on goal.

Berko 2 Cheshunt 3

Berko Men’s 2s lined up on a warm sunny morning against Cheshunt 1s.
