This time 2 weeks ago it appeared to many, that the M3s were looking down the barrel of Div 6, luckily nobody within the team had bothered listening to such scurrilous chatter,  so having taken 2 wins from the last two Saturdays, and with a strong whiff of Ralgex , 14 men and true journied to the Nobel Stadium with Wellsie having admitted waking at 4-50am with excitement / trepidation.

A solid Berkhamsted performance against an experienced West Herts side, yet in the end disappointingly not enough to get the win and go above WH in the league.

The M3s core squad was delighted to be strengthened by special guests Julian Laxon, Robin Page and Charlie Ormerod for this game against Shefford and Sandy who were 3rd in the league.

It was the late shift for Berko 2s against the team above them on goal difference alone.

Due to some idiots deciding to drive up the bank of the A41, 5 of the 5s were stuck in traffic. Joe Devey was not one of them, but during the warm-up he took a nasty whack on his ankle, which limited his mobility.
