A superb team performance by the whole squad saw Berkhamsted 4th XI gain an excellent 3-0 victory against Letchworth 4th XI.

The Mens 1s arrived at Oaklands College full of confidence after the win the previous week.  Slow to start in the warm-up, we knew we had to start hard as St Albans were going to be a tough side to beat.

As the 5s gathered for their game against Stevenage 6s, there was an air of anticipation,

Berkhamsted got off to a flying start, taking the play to the opposition. In fact, Hertford were hemmed in by Berko’s slick passing for the first 15 minutes with Toby Payton look particularly good going down the right.

If last week's game showed us anything it was how well the team could play in the hail and the pouring rain. Unfortunately this week the weather was overcast, but not sufficiently extreme to bring out the performance we needed to beat a vary capable St Albans.
