Please indicate your availability for matches through Pitchero either by going on the app or responding to messages asking for your availability. The advantage of using the app is that you can easily update your availability for several weeks ahead.

The selection process starts on Monday morning so please make sure your availability is up to date by the end of Sunday for the game the following Saturday.

If you are not sure please record yourself as a ‘Maybe’, with a little explanation if possible. This really helps the captains know who is available for selection and helps them to publish teams by Tuesday evening.

After the teams have been published, you will get another message via Pitchero indicating which team you’ve been selected to play for. Please confirm that you are playing at that stage, so that the squad is sure you are coming.

Club policy is to create the best possible teams in order to win matches. Although you are likely to have a usual squad, you may be asked to play for another (higher or lower) team for example to ensure there is adequate cover for each of the teams.

All times and locations of matches are published on Pitchero. Times stated are actual push-back times but teams will normally meet at least 30-45 mins before the match for a warm up and to discuss team tactics. This is an important part of the preparation to play, so please do try to arrive on time.

It’s very usual for teams to share lifts, particularly for away matches as its good fun and obviously better for the world. Let your captain know if you would like a lift or ask on your team's WhatsApp group. Our safeguarding policy advises against U18s travelling alone with just 1 adult.
